Product Description
Moscato has an easy charm that wine snobbery never quite managed to spoil, and a good Californian version makes the case better than most. Terra d Oro works out of the Sierra Foothills, a warm-day, cool-night corner of the state that suits aromatic whites, and this bottle is unashamedly built for pleasure rather than contemplation.
Intensely floral on the nose, then sweet and lightly spritzy on the palate: peach, orange blossom, honeysuckle and ripe apricot, with enough acidity to stop it cloying. Serve it properly cold. Lovely with fruit tart, on a warm afternoon, or as a gentle finish to a spicy meal.
