Product Description
Basil Hayden made its name by going light where bourbon usually goes heavy. The house style leans on a generous proportion of rye in the mash and a gentle bottling strength, producing a whiskey that is delicate, peppery and unusually easy to return to. This bundle gathers more than one bottle from the family, which is the most useful way to meet a brand built on variations of a single idea.
Across the range you will find dry spice, honey, mint and light oak rather than heavy caramel and char. That makes it a fine whiskey for warm weather, for guests who claim they do not like bourbon, and for highballs with soda and a lemon twist. A considered gift for someone who values finesse over firepower.
