Product Description
Cut grass, gooseberry and a squeeze of lime: Sauvignon Blanc announces itself faster than almost any other white grape, which is a large part of its appeal. This is a bright, unoaked example made for immediate enjoyment, and it belongs in the door of the refrigerator rather than a cellar rack.
Sharply aromatic and dry, with grapefruit, green apple, passionfruit and a herbaceous edge carried on high, refreshing acidity. Serve it properly cold in a smallish glass. It is excellent with goat cheese, oysters, asparagus, grilled fish or a salad with a sharp vinaigrette, and it makes a fine aperitif on its own.
