Product Description
Here is a bottle that plays a small trick on the eye. It is a genuine anejo — aged in oak, with all the sweetness and spice that implies — then filtered until the color is gone, leaving a spirit as clear as a blanco and considerably rounder than one. On a back bar it is the one guests always ask about.
Silky and soft, with vanilla bean, honeyed agave, faint coconut and toasted oak, finishing long and almost creamy. Pour it very cold and neat, or over a large cube with a strip of orange peel. It also makes an unexpectedly elegant margarita, if you are willing to spend the tequila on one.
