Product Description
Old vines are Spain's great underrated resource — gnarled, low-yielding Tempranillo planted long before anyone was thinking about export markets, producing fruit with far more concentration than young plantings can manage. Tridente works with exactly that sort of material, and the wine shows it in weight and length rather than in volume.
Dense and savory: black cherry, plum, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate over toasted oak, with firm tannin and a long, dry finish. Decant twenty minutes and serve at cellar temperature. Made for roast lamb, grilled chops, chorizo, or a plate of Manchego and marcona almonds.
