Product Description
Sweet Marsala is Sicily's answer to a dessert wine — fortified, amber and generous, with the oxidative, nutty character that only time in cask produces. It belongs at the end of a meal, and it has the very useful quality of keeping well for weeks after opening, unlike most dessert wines.
Rich and raisiny, with dried fig, honey, toasted almond and caramel across a warm, sweet finish. Pour a small glass slightly cool alongside biscotti, almond cake, aged pecorino or a bowl of walnuts. It is also the traditional choice for zabaglione and tiramisu, if the kitchen is already in use.
