Product Description
Sweet red wine has a loyal following that rarely gets catered to properly, and this bottle is aimed squarely at it. Dark, soft and openly sweet, it skips the tannin and structure that make dry reds a harder sell and goes straight to the fruit. For the right drinker it is exactly the right wine.
Inky in the glass, tasting of blackberry jam, ripe cherry and grape candy, full and round with a long sweet finish. Serve it cool, around 55 degrees, which sharpens the fruit and keeps it from reading as heavy. Good with barbecue ribs, spicy food, brownies or dark chocolate, and it makes excellent sangria.
