Product Description
Pinot Grigio grows on pink-skinned grapes, which is the small fact behind this bottle — leave the juice in contact with those skins for a few hours and you get a rose that keeps the variety's crispness while picking up color and a little more fruit. An old Italian idea, and a very easy wine to like.
Pale copper-pink, dry and light, with wild strawberry, white peach and citrus over a crisp, clean finish. Serve it cold in a white wine glass rather than a flute. Ideal with charcuterie, grilled vegetables, shrimp, summer salads and warm afternoons, and it works just as well as an aperitif before anyone sits down.
