Product Description
Where the 1856 bottling leads with power, 1884 Small Batch is the one assembled for approachability. Uncle Nearest's blending team builds it in small lots from Tennessee stocks and brings it down to 93 proof, a strength that keeps all the character without the heat getting in the way.
Expect honey, banana bread, roasted nuts and soft vanilla oak, with a rounder and sweeter shape than its higher-proof sibling. Lovely neat in a tulip glass, excellent over a single cube, and gentle enough to win over a hesitant whiskey drinker. Also a smart gift: recognizable, meaningful, and priced below what whiskey this good usually asks.
