Product Description
The Prisoner Wine Company built its name on breaking rules, and Unshackled is the label it created to keep doing that at a friendlier price. This rose is California fruit handled with real intent rather than as an afterthought, which is more than can be said for plenty of pink wine on the shelf.
It pours pale salmon and drinks dry and textural, with white strawberry, watermelon rind, a touch of citrus pith and a savory mineral finish. Chill it well but not to numbness. Excellent with grilled shrimp, fried chicken, charcuterie, a summer salad, or nothing at all on a warm evening. For rose drinkers who want substance.
