Product Description
Chile turned out to be one of the better places on earth to grow Pinot Noir, and the cool coastal valleys west of Santiago are where it happens. Veramonte farms organically in that corridor and bottles a Pinot with genuine varietal character at a price most Pinot simply cannot manage.
It is light to medium bodied, offering red cherry, cranberry, rose petal and a savory earthy undertone before a finish of clean acidity and fine tannin. Serve it slightly chilled, about fifteen minutes out of the refrigerator. Lovely with salmon, roast duck, mushroom dishes, charcuterie, or a Wednesday roast chicken.
