Product Description
This is the original, the bottle that built the brand. Verdi Spumante is an Italian sparkling wine in the sweet Moscato tradition, deliberately light in alcohol and priced so that opening one never feels like a decision. A great many celebrations have been toasted with it.
The palate is sweet and grapey, with white peach, orange blossom and a frothy, soft fizz that fades to a clean finish. Serve it cold in a flute, or pour it over ice with citrus slices on a warm afternoon. It works with cake, cookies, fruit and cheese, and works just as well on its own at a crowded table.
