Product Description
A hillside Cabernet made in the register Paso Robles does best: ripe, sun-driven fruit framed by tannin that keeps it upright. Vina Robles has farmed this stretch of California's Central Coast since the mid-1990s, and the house style has settled into something reliable, with generous fruit, moderate oak and nothing overworked.
Blackberry and black cherry lead, with anise, sweet cedar and a warm, slightly chalky finish. It drinks well now and will hold a few years. Open it for grilled meat, a hearty pasta or a winter stew, and let it breathe briefly before the first pour.
