Product Description
X.A. is the top of the Volcán range, a blend of aged tequilas married in American oak, sherry and port casks by the house's master blender. That cask selection is borrowed from the fine-spirits playbook, and it shows: this is tequila made to be considered rather than mixed, presented in a heavy decanter that looks the part on a back bar.
Dried fig, dark honey, roasted agave and walnut, with cocoa and a long, warming finish carrying faint sherry sweetness. Serve it neat in a copita, no ice, and give it air. Bring it out after dinner with dark chocolate, or hand it to someone who thinks they dislike tequila.
