Product Description
Shiraz is the friendliest of the great red grapes, generous with fruit and forgiving of almost any dinner. This is a straightforward, fairly priced version of the style, made to be opened on a weekday rather than saved for a birthday. Not every bottle needs to be an event, and there is real value in one that simply works.
Ripe blackberry and dark plum lead, with black pepper, a little smoke and a soft, round finish. Tannins are easy and the fruit does the talking. Serve it slightly below room temperature with burgers, sausages, barbecue, lamb or a Tuesday bowl of pasta. Nothing about it demands decanting or ceremony.
