Product Description
Otima was Warre's answer to a fair complaint: Port looked old-fashioned. The clear, slim 500 ml bottle was designed to be served chilled and kept in the refrigerator door, and it changed how a lot of people drink tawny. Inside is a proper ten year old blend from a house that has worked the Douro since 1670.
Ten years in wood gives it amber color and a nutty sweetness: dried apricot, toffee, hazelnut and a citrus lift, with a clean finish lighter on its feet than most Port. Serve it cool. Good with cheese, almonds or dessert, and equally good alone as an early-evening pour.
