Product Description
Yamazaki is where Japanese whisky began. Shinjiro Torii built the country's first malt distillery in the valley south of Kyoto in 1923, choosing the site for its water and its humid, misty air. Eighteen years in cask is the expression where that patience becomes unmistakable, and allocation has made it genuinely scarce.
Deep and layered, with dried fruit, dark chocolate, sandalwood and the sweet incense note that Japanese Mizunara oak leaves behind, closing long and gently tannic. Drink it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, with water on the side and nothing else. A bottle for a landmark occasion.
