Product Description
The Casella family were grape growers in Yenda, New South Wales, long before they launched Yellow Tail in 2001 and became, within a few years, the most recognised Australian wine brand in America. Scale is what keeps the price where it is; consistency is what brings people back to the same shelf.
The blend drinks softer than either grape does alone, with ripe blackberry, plum and a hint of mocha over supple tannins and a rounded finish. Serve slightly cool with grilled meat, spaghetti, sharp cheddar or a Friday pizza. A sound weeknight red that nobody at the table will object to.
