Product Description
Riesling travels well, and Australia has spent decades proving it. Yellow Tail takes the grape in its most welcoming direction, a touch of sweetness held in check by real acidity, and offers it in a 1.5 litre magnum: the format to buy when the guest list keeps growing. It is a lot of drinkable wine for very little money, and it tends to disappear faster than expected.
Look for lime, green apple and a floral lift, with a gentle off-dry sweetness that makes this unusually good with heat. Pour it very cold. It is close to ideal with Thai curry, Sichuan takeout, glazed pork or anything sweet and spicy, and it works just as well on its own in the garden.
