Product Description
A bottle of sparkling wine changes the temperature of a room, and it need not be reserved for anniversaries. Zensa works organically in southern Italy, farming without synthetic chemicals and letting the fruit speak plainly, and this brut is the house sparkler of that philosophy. It is a clean, dry, unshowy fizz for people who want to drink well and lightly without making an event of it.
The bubbles are fine and persistent, carrying green apple, white pear, citrus peel and a faint note of bread crust into a dry, crisp finish. Serve it properly cold in a tulip glass rather than a flute. It is ideal as an aperitif, and very good with oysters, fried snacks, prosciutto and salty cheese.
